Chaplain Kenya Anderson Bio
Kenya Anderson earned her Master of Divinity with an emphasis on Pastoral Care from McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University. She has been a minister for more than nineteen years and has served as a Chaplain for the past six years. Her experiences include working in various hospitals such as the Atlanta VA Medical Center, mental health faculties, and state prisons. Recently, she provided pastoral care and counseling for over 550 male residents at a forensic treatment center. As their chaplain, she supervised eighteen different religions. Her duties included finding and training volunteers for the different faith groups, preaching sermons, and facilitating weekly groups. Throughout the years of working as a minister and a chaplain, she has provided emotional, mental, and spiritual support and care to individuals, their loved ones, and staff. Over the past three years she has supported and ministered to over 4400 individual's within hospitals, hospice and other facilities. End-of-Life-Care is her passion as well as pastoral counseling and prayer.

As a minister of the gospel, she served and preached several times a week, administered baptisms, conducted memorial services, and more. She has three children- two of them are in college and one is in a middle school. Kenya is currently in the process to becoming a soldier in the Army National Guard.
